Holli joins engage2Learn with 13 years experience in public education.    In her 13 years,  she has served school districts in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, including Irving ISD, Dallas ISD, and Richardson ISD.  She joins the  team as an e2L Certified eGrowe Coach, trainer, and facilitator.  Her passion and enthusiasm for working with adult learners and increasing student achievement led her to join the e2L team.

Beginning her career  in Irving ISD, the school district in which she attended as a student from elementary through high school,  Holli was a classroom teacher of all content areas to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.   After 4 years at the elementary level, she moved to middle school and became a math teacher.  Her passion for mathematics instruction and helping kids develop their conceptual understanding of mathematics led her to continue teaching math to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students for five years, including a position at a net-zero campus where she implemented the e2L Framework with her students.   From there, she became a Math Academic Specialist for Special Education teachers in the district, a position she held for two years before leaving the district.
Having spent 11 years in Irving, Holli then decided to explore new career opportunities in Dallas ISD where she served as a Campus Instructional Coach.  This position allowed her to merge her career passions of mathematics curriculum and instruction with coaching.  It was also during this time that  Holli completed her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Texas at Arlington with a focus of Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction.  Time spent in Dallas ISD allowed Holli to participate in an intense teacher-coaching training from Paul Bambrick-Santoyo and apply those practices to aid in the growth  of teachers based on their individual needs.
The opportunity to work with one of her former administrators and mentors led Holli to her most recent work with Richardson ISD as an Instructional Coach.   Here, she was a part of the Instructional Leadership team and grew her own professional skill set through her participation in  some administrative duties, including serving as a testing coordinator for district testing.  Working in Richardson also afforded Holli the opportunity to step back into the classroom as a sixth grade math teacher in the few weeks prior to state testing to support student success.
Holli is a lifelong learner and believes that every experience working with others contributes to her own professional and personal growth.  Her passion for growing teachers that create learning environments where students take an active role in their learning is something she embeds into her coaching and training.   She is enthusiastic about collaborating with all of the e2L team members and partners to continue to fulfill this passion while also developing students who will be better prepared for the future.
