Kirby Young

e2L Certified eGROWE Coach

Kirby comes to e2L with extensive teaching experience. While teaching at Manor New Tech High School, she worked closely with students, administrators, and teachers. She was dedicated to working hard in order to have a positive impact on her students and the community.

Kirby taught 9th, 11th, and 12th grade social studies. She has a strong passion for student-centered learning and 21st Century Skills. She enjoys working with adults and helping them learn new and innovative ways of teaching. She has presented workshops on best practices at national conferences and frequently served as a mentor for novice teachers.

In addition to being a classroom teacher, Kirby served as her campus college and career readiness coach, helping guide students in the college application process. She enjoyed helping students determine the path to pursue their dreams.
