With over 34 years in the education industry, Molly Howell now serves as the Chief Sales Officer at engage2learn. Molly began her career in public education as an elementary teacher but soon fell in love with the middle school experience and focused on teaching 7th grade life science. Later, she received an opportunity to implement an inclusive gifted education model where she collaborated with all classroom teachers to provide services to any student that was ready for advanced opportunities, regardless of their placement in the program. As her knowledge of the connections between teaching and learning and sound research-based instructional design deepened, Molly decided to transition to the private sector. It became clear that the need to shape assessment, curriculum, and professional learning that could impact education nationally, is where her mission lies. Molly believes that consultative sales professionals are the point of the spear in terms of creating awareness for districts to understand the innovative solutions the market now has to offer. She has led teams of curriculum specialists, solution engineers, account executives and sales directors for the past 16 years for several leading educational technology and curriculum providers and believes strongly in the duty of these providers to impact teacher and student outcomes. Molly thrives on coaching others to realize their greatest potential and creating meaningful relationships with district partners.
