Tama Hebert

Tama joined e2L with 29 years experience in public education. She brings a passion for learning using innovative instructional techniques created to engage every learner. All of Tama’s classroom experience was in the Lewisville Independent School District where she taught MTA (dyslexia program), 5th grade, 6th grade Math, and 8th grade ELAR. Tama also performed as a virtual teacher for the 20-21 school year implementing a new platform for students who chose to learn at home. Among her numerous opportunities in her district, Tama served as a team leader at both the elementary and middle school levels. A few of her responsibilities included coordinating and managing grade level activities, conducting team meetings, representing the team at school leadership gatherings, and leading parent conferences. Tama provided a positive learning environment by making sure every student knew they were valued and

respected, regardless of other factors such as ability, gender, race, ethnicity, or religion. Tama believes that teachers deserve the support to help every child not only reach their full potential, but develop a love of learning.
