Tami is a Certified eGROWE Coach with over 20 years of experience in education. Over the span of her career, she has served as a teacher, literacy specialist and literacy center director, district assessment coordinator, assistant professor, and educational consultant. Her areas of expertise include K-12 literacy, literacy intervention, disciplinary literacy as well as critical pedagogy, teacher education, and assessment.
Tami believes in public education and that all students should have access to engaging, thought-provoking, and problem-solving learning experiences while in school. Students deserve to be valued as individuals in the education process and provided with the opportunity for autonomy within that process. To provide the best educational environment possible, Tami maintains students warrant the best-trained teachers; teachers merit the best training and on-going support and resources in order to facilitate learning experiences for their students.
