Dr. Tami Dean is an Executive Director of Partner Success with 24 years in education. In addition to her current role in e2L leadership executing and supporting our partners with project management, she has coached teachers, instructional coaches, and campus leaders. Prior to coming to e2L Tami has worked with students of all ages from Pre-K-12th grade. She has been a middle school literacy teacher, a district assessment coordinator as a part of a curriculum coordinator leadership team, director of a high school literacy center, high school literacy specialist, and a K-12 literacy consultant for a regional office of education in Illinois. She has also served as an assistant professor of education in Illinois and Texas supporting current and pre-service educators. Her work with in-service teachers includes her passion for disciplinary literacies and social justice, equity, and inclusion in education. She has taught university coursework relating to reading assessment, literacy methods for all levels including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school. Tami has published her work in journals such as JAAL and RRQ.
