Chief of Product Innovation, engage2learn
Jill Galloway is the Chief of Product Innovation for engage2learn, which empowers public school systems through smart professional learning solutions and talent development platforms. She uses her background in computer science, engineering and user experience to innovate and build human-centered products. In a data-rich and complex world, she is passionate about the need for connected data, which cuts through the noise to show what works and what doesn’t. Connected data is the key to simplicity and efficiency - focusing only on what matters and nothing more. These ideas are embedded into e2L’s award-winning coaching platform, which has been recognized multiple times, including in Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas Awards.
Prior to working at engage2learn, where she’s been since 2014, Jill held edtech leadership positions in public school districts, leading many product implementations and innovation initiatives. Her unique career path shaped a perspective that mixes creativity and empathy with the logic needed to execute big ideas. Jill has turned down the opportunity to work for high-powered tech companies so she can help advance education and change lives. She wants to help others believe that they can learn their way through any challenge and come out on the other side stronger. That belief is what breeds the courage to tackle hard things, whether it’s an assignment on a new topic or something life-changing, such as escaping poverty or building innovations that make the world a better place. She feels honored to work with the e2L dream team to develop products that nurture this mindset.
Jill has an undergraduate degree in computer science and engineering, a master’s degree in instructional technology, a Product Strategy Certificate from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Lean Project Management certification.
