English learners* are a vital asset to our schools.
We help public schools design and implement language immersion programs, tailored support systems, and best instructional practices for language acquisition to unlock the full potential of their multilingual learners (MLL). Our research-backed implementation strategies and proven track record of success have dramatically improved outcomes for English learners (EL) in our partner districts.

Achieving Educational Equity for Multilingual Learners
The larger-than-average EL population in Providence Public Schools led district leadership to seek a path toward creating equitable learning experiences for learners that began with providing equitable support for teachers. The district partnered with engage2learn to create a support and growth plan that equipped educators to equitably support ELs through streamlined district-wide priorities, goals, teacher training, and instructional methods.
*engage2learn is committed to the intentional use of asset-based terminology. As such, we prefer and often use the term “multilingual learners,”
but recognize the need for continued use of the term “English learners” for clarity and to align with current federal and state legislation requirements.

e2L partnered with third-party evaluator Learning Experience Design (LXD) Research to analyze educator growth and WIDA ACCESS scores for multilingual learners (MLLs) in grades 1 through 5. The results showed moderate evidence that educator growth from e2L coaching had a statistically significant impact on MLL student WIDA ACCESS scores.
What our partners are saying...
“We have been impressed with how our engage2learn engaging our teachers and we would like to grow our [coaches] to be able to contribute in the same way.”

"We didn't have the capacity with our in-house coaches to meet the need before. Now we're using engage2learn to support us and our teachers through one-on-one [support] centered on the practices that teachers are now implementing in the classroom."
