Gena Gardiner

Gena is so grateful to be a member of the engage2learn family. She has served as a Texas educator for 40 years as a teacher, principal, director, and assistant superintendent. Her passion is partnering with public school educators in creating a culture of high performance that directly benefits students. Supporting the growth and the development of leadership in others has been a huge part of her life’s work.

Prior to joining engage2learn, Gena served in Highland Park ISD for 15 years. As an Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Special Programs, working with the students, staff, alumni, parents, and community in designing the HPISD Profile of the Learner, Profile of the Educator, and Profile of the District was a privilege and honor. It provided an opportunity to look to the future on behalf of our learners. Gena has served in districts of varying sizes and demographics. “Students first” is her motto.
