Texas-Based Support for Local Public Schools

engage2learn has been working with Texas schools since 2011, gaining extensive experience as an approved Vetted Improvement Program (VIP) provider and Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) for the TEA grants/programs listed below. These grants and support programs provide Texas schools with additional funding and technical assistance to accelerate student outcomes and attract, nurture, and retain high-quality teachers.

Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) Cycle 4 Grants

Application Window: October 3 through December 3, 2025

The Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) Cycle 4 is the newest iteration of a single, consolidated application cycle from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). It strategically batches grants, allotments, and in-kind supports to accelerate academic gains and support innovation among Texas public schools.

LASO Cycle 4 program initiatives are focused on 15 opportunities bundled around four key learning acceleration strategies: Curriculum & Instruction, Educator Training, More Time, and Innovative School Models.

Leadership & Instructional Foundations for Texas (LIFT)

The LIFT (Leadership & Instructional Foundations for Texas) grant—combining the former Strong Foundations (Planning & Implementation), Texas Instructional Leadership (TIL), and Texas Lesson Study (TxLS) programs—supports Texas districts in strengthening core instruction through HQIM aligned materials, leadership development, and job-embedded professional learning. e2L helps districts meet these priorities through research-based coaching and capacity-building that drive measurable improvements in student outcomes and teacher retention.

LIFT Add-On: School Improvement PLC Support

The LIFT SI PLC Add-On provides targeted funding for job-embedded PLC coaching on school improvement campuses, and engage2learn supports districts in leveraging these funds through research-based instructional leadership development, collaborative planning support, and coaching aligned to high-quality instructional materials—all proven to drive rapid gains in student achievement and teacher effectiveness

School Improvement Curriculum and Instruction Support Grant (SI CISG)

This grant funds targeted instructional support for federally identified campuses, and engage2learn helps districts maximize this opportunity by delivering customized coaching, aligned implementation of high-quality instructional materials, and capacity-building that accelerates improvement where it’s needed most.

School Action Fund

e2L supports public schools in customizing, implementing, and measuring the success of a learning framework and an actionable, long-term strategic plan aligned to district priorities and community expectations.

Blended Learning Grant

This grant supports Texas districts in implementing high-quality blended learning models, and engage2learn helps schools succeed with this grant by providing strategic coaching, professional learning, and technology integration that ensure effective, student-centered use of digital tools in the classroom.

Teacher Retention Support

Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)

The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was created by House Bill 3 to provide a way for high-performing teachers to earn six-figure salaries and for traditionally hard-to-staff schools to attract, nurture, and retain highly effective teachers.
