engage2learn Expands Reach to California

AUSTIN, TX –  engage2learn (e2L) today announced a new partnership with Modoc County Office of Education (MCOE), expanding its reach to teachers and students in California. Nationwide growth of e2L over the past few years has brought about a surge in demand for engage2learn’s smart professional growth system, which provides evidence-based coaching strategically aligned to district priorities.

Modoc County LogoIts work with the Modoc County Office of Education has kicked off for the 2022-2023 school year providing executive training and coaching for the county, district, and school leaders, including superintendents, principals, and education coaches for the three school districts the MCOE supports. Additionally, e2L is providing coaching and training that will directly impact classrooms across the districts.

MCOE partnered with e2L to provide expedited, concentrated support around training and coaching for Modoc Joint Unified School District, Surprise Valley Joint Unified School District, and Tulelake Basin Joint Unified School District. This partnership will enable MCOE to scale support across the three county school districts and build internal capacity for sustainability. Executive Coaching is currently taking place on leadership competencies that will lead to sustained success through school improvements and positive student outcomes.

“We’ve already begun executive coaching with school leaders, including myself, the superintendent, and school leaders in Modoc Joint Unified School District,” said Misti Norby, Deputy Superintendent for Modoc County Office of Education. “We will continue our leadership coaching throughout the school year to build our internal capacity, grow as leaders and develop an evidence-based coaching model that will support all teachers county-wide.”

“Educators today don’t need anyone critiquing their performance,” said Shannon Buerk, Founder and CEO of engage2learn. “Instead, they deserve to be elevated as talent and to receive the benefit of personalized coaching on competencies through evidence-based conversations that give them agency to meet their individual needs and recognition for their efforts.” Buerk added, “We are excited about Modoc’s vision and our partnership expansion in California:  providing smart professional learning that equitably supports everyone’s unique ability to grow and enhance their craft.”

engage2learn has also implemented a Coaches Academy for MCOE instructional coaches who provide specialized education services throughout the three Modoc County school districts. These coaches are receiving individualized coaching support that is proven to increase teacher retention and efficacy. They are driving their growth through smart professional learning, which shows a direct correlation between educator growth and student achievement.
