engage2learn's Data-Informed Growth Coaching Collaborative Receives Accreditation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF)
AUSTIN, TX – engage2learn (e2L), the leading instructional coaching and talent development partner for K-12 public schools, is proud to announce that its renowned instructional coaching certification program, the Data-Informed Growth (DIG) Coaching Collaborative, has been officially accredited by the prestigious International Coaching Federation (ICF) as a Continuing Coach Education (CCE) program.
Complete with rigorous standards surrounding the development and delivery of high-quality training and education for instructional coaches and leaders, this CCE accreditation from the ICF solidifies the effectiveness of the DIG Coaching Collaborative. Completion of the program qualifies participants to earn 16 core competency hours and 6 resource development hours towards an ICF Credential.
"We are thrilled to receive this accreditation from the International Coaching Federation," said Shannon K. Buerk, Founder and CEO of engage2learn. "This recognition underscores our commitment to providing coaches with effective coaching actions from the science of coaching, while also ensuring that coaches can scale support to maximize their impact on adult and student learning.”
Backed by a decade of research led by Drs. Linda Reddy from Rutgers University and Alexander Kurz from Arizona State University, e2L’s DIG Coaching Collaborative begins with a two-day, in-person workshop that provides participants with engaging, hands-on learning on the essential coaching actions and skills that make up the science of coaching and are proven to improve teacher and student outcomes. The 12 weeks that follow consist of weekly video chat check-ins with a certified e2L DIG Coach, coaching calibration and debrief sessions, a digital portfolio of coaching and growth evidence, a research-based coaching effectiveness assessment, and, most importantly, the empirically validated coaching assessment and certification.
“Becoming a certified DIG Coach means that you’re ready to provide any educator at any experience level with the targeted, meaningful coaching support that is proven to get results,” said Taylor Hood, e2L Certified DIG Coach and one of the two-day workshop facilitators. “The two-day workshop in particular is a great opportunity for instructional coaches and leaders from across the country to come together, create connections, collaborate, and learn the effective coaching actions that can be integrated into any coaching model.”
Built upon extensive, validated research behind the science of coaching, completion of the 12-week DIG Coaching Collaborative empowers instructional coaches and administrators to integrate the research into a high-performance coaching program to drive improved student outcomes and teacher retention. And now with accreditation from the ICF, e2L’s DIG Coaching Collaborative is a tool for instructional coaching and support professionals to keep their skills sharp while earning CCE units as evidence of their ongoing commitment to learning.
