Data-Informed Growth Coaching Collaborative from engage2learn Set to Transform Instructional Coaching

Austin, TX – The new Data-Informed Growth (DIG) Coaching Collaborative from engage2learn (e2L) is set to elevate instructional coaching and accelerate results ensuring districts can connect investments made in coaching and adult growth to outcomes. The DIG Coaching Collaborative brings together 12 years of coaching experience from engage2learn and 10 years of validated, peer-reviewed academic research from professors at Arizona State University and Rutgers University on the three coaching skills and actions that best accelerate and improve performance outcomes leading to a one-of-a-kind coaching process and certification.

DIG-Email-GraphicLed by e2L facilitators with decades of K-12 education experience, the DIG Coaching Collaborative is a high-energy 12-week program designed to ensure participants are highly proficient at facilitating data-informed goal setting, using data to identify needs and resources, accelerating staff growth through constructive and welcomed performance feedback, and leveraging education analytics to measure progress and connect to desired outcomes.

By merging the science of coaching – the foundational research and expertise that has helped engage2learn develop this unique, first-of-its-kind collaborative and certification – with the 3 essential coaching actions, public school districts are equipped with proven strategies for increasing educator growth, satisfaction, retention, and student outcomes. This collaborative connects in-depth professional learning tools and resources with GroweLab, an all-in-one, integrated coaching platform, resulting in the only research-backed, evidence-based coaching assessment and certification program of its kind.

“Educator retention is the most critical challenge in education today and yet enhancing performance is essential to ensuring better outcomes for students,” said Shannon Buerk, Founder and CEO of engage2learn. “Through DIG, districts can now have both: bringing the science of coaching into their coaching model, regardless of their chosen methodology or framework, which will empower educators and also lead to a remarkable performance growth in instructional and non-instructional staff.”

Designed for time-starved principals, assistant principals, principal supervisors, instructional coaches, central office staff, and any education leader responsible for growing individuals on their teams, this collaborative and certification program focuses on helping achieve proficiency in facilitating data-informed growth for any position or role within the school district.

The inaugural cohort will kick off in July of 2023 in Austin, Texas, with the option of a two-day, in-person or virtual session. Cohort participants will continue with weekly adaptive, asynchronous coaching sessions; virtual workshops; video calibrations; and the 12-week experience culminates with a coaching assessment that if passed leads to the Data-Informed Growth Coaching Certification. Additional information on the DIG Coaching Collaborative cohort can be found at engage2learn.org/dig-coaching The registration deadline is June 22, 2023. Spots are limited and fill up quickly.
