AUSTIN, TX – engage2learn (e2L) is proud to announce that the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has approved e2L’s Coaching Catalyst Program as a Vetted Improvement Program (VIP) that supports all five levers essential for successful school outcomes, enabling e2L to provide Texas school districts the support they need for capacity building, effective instruction, and school improvement within the Effective Schools Framework (ESF). The goal of the ESF is to provide a clear vision and path for districts and schools across the state to follow to ensure an excellent education for all Texas students.
According to the TEA, VIPs are an important resource for Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in seeking to build capacity in priority focus areas identified through the ESF Diagnostic Process. e2L’s Catalyst Coaching Program has been fully vetted and approved to support LEAs in their selection of high-quality contracted services aligned with foundational essential actions within the ESF.

The ESF program and the support e2L provides as a VIP is instrumental for improving the landscape of public education in the state of Texas. The ESF framework, based on years of educational research of best practices, identifies five levers essential for successful school outcomes: Strong School Leadership and Planning, Strategic Staffing, Positive School Culture, High-Quality Instructional Materials and Assessments, and Effective Instruction. e2L’s Catalyst Coaching Program can now support districts through their school improvement process in all five areas.
