Kristi began her educational career as a 5th Grade self contained teacher. She later relocated to the DFW metroplex where she served as a teacher in Richardson ISD at a Magnet School serving a diverse community. After moving North of Dallas, Kristi joined McKinney and Frisco ISD. During that time Kristi worked as Math Curriculum Writer, Team Leader, and Professional Development staff. Kristi presented at several conferences including district level and CAMT. After traveling to New York with her husband for his military career, they settled in North Fort Worth where she joined Denton ISD as a lead Math teacher.
Shortly after joining Denton ISD she served teachers as a Math Instructional Coach. Kristi enjoyed working closely with teachers implementing goal setting practices to support student achievement. Her passion for coaching continued as she then moved into administration as an Assistant Principal. Prior to joining engage2learn, she was serving as Assistant Principal working to implement Multi Tiered Supports, PLC practices, coaching teachers and teams, and increasing student achievement campus wide.
