Who we serve · Superintendents

You can’t be in every school. Your plan can.

The strategy is right and the board approved it. Then it has to reach thirty classrooms you’ll never visit in the same week. engage2learn builds the plan with your community, coaches alongside your educators to carry it into every school, and shows you and your board where it stands, all year.

What’s on your desk

Every school’s problems end up on your desk.

A superintendent answers for every school at once. Here is what we hear first, and what comes off the desk when one partner runs the cycle.

On the superintendent’s desk

  • Initiatives inherited from the last administration, all still running.

One strategic plan, built with your community, that says what stays, what stops and who owns each goal.

  • Thirty schools, and you can be in one of them today.

Former district practitioners coach inside your schools, carrying the plan into classrooms.

  • A board that wants to see progress before the year-end meeting.

Progress by goal and by school in GroweLab, ready for any board meeting.

  • Work that has to survive the next leadership change.

Your own leaders and coaches learn to run the cycle, so the capacity stays in the district.

Your year with us

One school year, from the plan to the board table.

Scroll through a superintendent’s year. Each season shows what you would see from engage2learn at that point.

  1. SummerJul–Aug

Set the priorities, with everyone at the table.

Planning season. Strategic Design brings students, staff and families into the same conversation, so the plan starts from what your community actually says.

    From engage2learn

Community sessions, a shared vision, and goals with owners.

  2. FallSep–Oct

A plan the board can approve, and schools can run.

Board approval and budget hearings. The plan goes in front of the board with measures attached, and coaching starts in schools.

    From engage2learn

A board-ready plan, and practitioner coaches inside your schools.

  3. WinterDec–Jan

Mid-year, with the evidence on one screen.

The mid-year board review. Instead of a binder, the board sees where each goal stands, school by school.

    From engage2learn

Progress by goal and by school, from GroweLab.

  4. SpringFeb–Apr

    Procurement questions, answered in advance.

RFPs for next year and ESSA evidence reviews. The coaching you are renewing has evidence a reviewer can check.

    From engage2learn

engage2learn’s coaching carries ESSA Tier 2 / Tier 3 evidence.

  5. Late springMay–Jun

What moved, and the plan’s next turn.

Contracts close before the fiscal year ends. You decide what comes next from what the year showed.

    From engage2learn

A year-end read of what changed, and the next turn of the cycle.

In their words

Superintendents on what one partner changed.

It wasn’t cookie-cutter. It was individualized for each district community, and that’s what we needed. We wanted something that was just for us.

FAQ

Questions leaders ask.

Who is engage2learn, and how is it different from a vendor who sells one piece?

engage2learn is one partner that runs the whole cycle of educator effectiveness itself: diagnose, design, coach, and connect to community. Most districts buy those pieces from several vendors; with one partner, the assessment, the plan and the coaching all aim at the same educator skills, and your cabinet works with one team rather than several.

What does the first conversation involve?

The first conversation is about the student-outcome gap you want to close and what you have already tried. There is no pitch deck. We listen, ask what your data and your schools are showing, and suggest where to start, often with an assessment, because the assessment comes first.

How do we know it is working this year?

Classroom practice is tracked in GroweLab as it improves. Walkthroughs, coaching cycles and educator growth show up during the year, by school, so progress is visible long before the end-of-year results.

How does a board see progress without reading a binder?

The plan’s goals, owners and progress show by school on one screen in GroweLab, so a board sees where the plan stands without a binder. Strategic Design builds the plan to be tracked this way from the start.
