Performance Improvement · HQIM Implementation

HQIM ImplementationFrom covering the materials to teaching them well.

Publisher training is front-loaded: a few days in August, then the year. But adoption alone rarely changes instruction. A full year of coaching, scheduled in advance, gives teachers time to internalize model lessons together in their PLCs before they teach them, then coaches alongside them on what the walkthroughs show.

One packed August, or coaching every month to May

Scroll through a school year. Watch the support stop being an event and become a routine.

  1. August

    Publisher training is front-loaded.

A few days of launch training in August, then the year. After that, teachers are left to figure out the rest.

  2. Fall

Internalize the lesson before teaching it.

Teachers prepare each model lesson together in their PLCs, so it is aligned to standards, sequenced well and adjusted for their students before it is taught.

  3. Winter

Walkthroughs that everyone scores the same way.

Leaders and coaches calibrate on what strong use of the materials looks like, then coach teachers one-to-one or in small groups on what the walkthroughs show.

  4. Spring

    Feedback, adjusted in real time.

Coaches ask for feedback and adjust the coaching right away. Support is scheduled in advance, so schools never wonder when help is coming.

  5. May

A full year, and results to show for it.

Teachers finish the year teaching the materials well, with growth recorded in GroweLab across every school.

FAQ

Questions leaders ask.

How is HQIM Implementation different from the training the publisher provides?

Publisher training is front-loaded and tied to one product. HQIM Implementation is a full year of coaching, scheduled in advance, that helps teachers internalize lessons in PLCs, calibrates walkthroughs, and coaches teachers one-to-one or in small groups on what those walkthroughs show.

What does a full year of support look like?

Support runs from launch to the end of the school year: lesson internalization in PLCs, calibrated classroom walkthroughs, personalized coaching for teachers, coaches and leaders, and a continuous feedback cycle. Every visit is scheduled in advance.

Do we have to use a specific curriculum?

No. HQIM Implementation supports the high-quality instructional materials your district has adopted. engage2learn is an approved Rivet Education provider.

Are bilingual coaches available?

Yes. Coaches are elite, state-certified educators with school and district leadership experience, and bilingual coaches are available as needed.

What results have partners seen in the first year?

In first-year partner results, students of engage2learn-coached teachers showed 2x growth in math and science scores, multilingual learner proficiency improved 40%, and teacher retention was 99% among 1,440+ coached teachers.

Our teachers were already trained on the curriculum. Why add coaching?

Training introduces the materials; coaching is what changes how they are taught. Lesson internalization, calibrated walkthroughs and follow-up coaching across the year turn a launch-day introduction into daily practice.
