Who we serve · Instructional Coaches

More time coaching. Less time writing it up.

Thirty teachers, one of you, and a log that reads like paperwork. engage2learn works with coaches on the Jim Knight coaching model, connects you with coaches doing the same work, and builds the coaching actions into the session log so the write-up keeps up with you.

What’s on your desk

You became a coach to coach.

An instructional coach carries a caseload across schools and holds the line between coaching and evaluation every day.

On the coach’s desk

  • Write-ups eating the time you meant for coaching.

The coaching actions are built into the session log, so the write-up happens as you coach.

  • Worry that your notes will end up in someone’s evaluation.

GroweLab is a growth platform, not an evaluation system. Coaching data stays with coaching.

  • No one coaching the coach.

The Coaches Academy and the Coaching Effectiveness Assessment, for your own growth.

  • Coaching alone, with no one doing the same work.

Coaches across districts in the Jim Knight Impact Network and the Instructional Coaching Institutes.

On AI, in one line

GroweLab drafts feedback in your voice, for you to review and edit. The relationship, the judgment and the conversation stay yours.

FAQ

Questions leaders ask.

Who is engage2learn, and how is it different from a vendor who sells one piece?

engage2learn is one partner that runs the whole cycle of educator effectiveness itself: diagnose, design, coach, and connect to community. Most districts buy those pieces from several vendors; with one partner, the assessment, the plan and the coaching all aim at the same educator skills, and your coaching team works with one team rather than several.

What does the first conversation involve?

The first conversation is about the student-outcome gap you want to close and what you have already tried. There is no pitch deck. We listen, ask what your data and your schools are showing, and suggest where to start, often with an assessment, because the assessment comes first.

How do we know it is working this year?

Classroom practice is tracked in GroweLab as it improves. Walkthroughs, coaching cycles and educator growth show up during the year, by school, so progress is visible long before the end-of-year results.

Is coaching data kept separate from teacher evaluation?

Yes. GroweLab is a growth platform, not an evaluation system, and coaching data is kept for coaching. Teachers can trust that what they work on with a coach stays part of their growth, not their rating.
