Anthony VolforteContent Director
Anthony Volforte is a Content Director at engage2learn. Anthony designs and delivers professional learning for consultants, school leaders, and teachers to strengthen mathematics instruction and improve student outcomes, manages and mentors content specialists, and partners with educators and leaders to implement mathematics programs and resources effectively.
Anthony brings 27 years of K-12 experience. Anthony taught general education with the NYC Department of Education from 1999 to 2002 and in Connetquot CSD from 2002 to 2007, was an assistant principal in Eastport-South Manor CSD from 2007 to 2012, and was principal of Brooklyn Charter School from 2012 to 2014, leading instructional improvement through teacher coaching and evaluation, professional development, data analysis, Response to Intervention, collaborative planning, and schoolwide instructional systems. From 2014 to 2026 Anthony was Content Director of Mathematics and an education consultant with Generation Ready, now part of the engage2learn family, providing school-based coaching, demonstration lessons, and professional learning in effective mathematics instruction.
Anthony holds a Professional Diploma in Educational Administration from Dowling College, a Master of Science in Education in Literacy Studies from Hofstra University, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education & Special Education from Saint John’s University. Anthony’s New York certifications are School Administrator & Supervisor, School District Administrator, Elementary Education (Pre-K–6), Special Education (Pre-K–12), and Reading (K–12).
“My why is rooted in the belief that every student deserves to experience themselves as capable learners,” Anthony says. “I want to help educators create classrooms where students make sense of ideas, ask questions, take risks, and see themselves reflected in their own success. I’m in education to make that possibility real, for every learner.”
