AUSTIN, Texas — engage2learn today announced a formal partnership with Generation Ready, the professional learning and coaching organization that has served schools and districts for more than 30 years. Generation Ready joins the engage2learn family, and engage2learn is making a significant investment in Generation Ready’s services and in its capacity to reach more schools.
For decades, Generation Ready has done the hands-on work of helping teachers increase their classroom effectiveness. Its consultants, each with 10+ years in education as former superintendents, principals, administrators and teachers, have supported 7,500+ schools, districts and central education departments and delivered 225,000+ coaching and workshop days inside schools. Some of its partnerships in New York City go back 30 years.
The new partnership is built to grow that work. Generation Ready now has access to everything engage2learn brings to its partners: the Tripod 7Cs Assessment and other research-backed diagnostics, GroweLab, where observation and planning is made easy and trackable, with AI support that educators calibrate and review, Jim Knight’s instructional coaching research and expertise, and engage2learn’s national team of former district practitioners. With that backing, Generation Ready can now offer its literacy and math coaching, and trusted school improvement services to far more educators than it could reach alone.
“Generation Ready’s team, results, and reputation are second to none in the NYC Reads efforts and other work in the city. These initiatives have become models for the nation,” said Shannon Buerk, founder and CEO of engage2learn. “We are excited to welcome Generation Ready into the engage2learn family and be able to expand their literacy, math and MTSS coaching methodology through our cutting edge tools and systems to schools across the country.”
For the schools and districts Generation Ready serves today, nothing changes. They keep the same consultants, the same coaching and the same relationships, many of them years in the making. What they gain is more: more tools, more research and a larger network of educators behind the people they already know.
“I’m thrilled for what this means for our K-12 partners and our team,” said Daniel Jabick, CEO of Generation Ready. “We get to expand on the impactful work we’ve been doing in schools with expertise from engage2learn’s team and access to best-in-class tools like GroweLab, and our coaches get the opportunity to serve more educators nationwide.”
Generation Ready’s job-embedded work continues content-focused capacity building across literacy and math, which engage2learn can now deliver with Generation Ready. Together, engage2learn and Generation Ready bring district leaders the whole cycle of educator effectiveness under one roof, from the assessment that pinpoints what a school needs to the coaching that builds those skills in classrooms.
